About The VerdictThe official publication for the Schools and Community Education Service, The Verdict magazine was first published online in 2003 (it was released in both hard copy and electronic in 2005) and is packed full of informative legal and community interest articles written by members of the legal profession, allied professionals and community leaders. The Verdict magazine is not an academic journal. It provides subscribers with up-to-date information on legislative developments, case law, discussion topics and general legal news three times a year. Archived editions of the magazine are available for full community viewing on the SCES website.

ProctorProctor is the Queensland legal profession's magazine, and is published monthly 11 times a year. Proctor features articles written by leading practitioners, case notes, information on legislation and practical advice on professional and practice issues. As the magazine for the profession, Proctor is distributed to almost all solicitors in Queensland, as well as barristers, members of the judiciary and all parliamentarians. Members of the general public, teachers and students are welcome to subscribe to this magazine, but it should be noted that articles featured in the magazine contain legal jargon which might not be understood. |
